Is that a True Utility TrueLite Micro? I just ordered one because I like the look of it but I couldn't find any kind of customer review on it. Do you like it?
Well for that kind of money you can't expect the best quality. It's quite bulky and the twist 0n/off is a bit problematic. I had to make some DIY mods to mine. Maybe you'll get a better one. It's very bright for a keychain light though.
That is probably the most annoying thing with the cut I have myself last spring. I have a super sensitive spot right where the lighter or other lever would ride
Hm, let's see... I have the Streamlight nano and I'm pretty happy with it so far. Of course a $6 light does not compare to a Quantum DD but some can be a positive surprise!
BTT: There are some bottles which are almost impossible to open with a lighter, the gap under the cap is just too narrow. Even the shard has problems with them but JDR's Mini Makemake got them all so far!
Out of all these, surprisingly the credit cards ones are the easiest...but all pretty much tied for effectiveness (one try) minus the sak ones...still like the Chad Nichols best of course.
I have had this one for many, many years now: http://www.paragonmachineworks.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=BT0009 Kind of similar to yours, very good bottle opener - and titanium!
Think I might have to pull the trigger on this Jeff Hall Nemesis Anodized Ti bottle opener. Really sick of detaching my Style PS every time I open a Hopslam (still have a few left!), and it doesn't feel like it'll hold up for long. Moore Cutlery Link Really don't get the whole craze of having a pry tool, although I'm still going to try and score an Atwood to see what all the hype is about.
"Run the length of beadchain through your belt loop and carry it in your pocket for on-the-spot opening tasks. Or, carry it around your neck for faster use and attention from the opposite sex. "Bottle opening... a code blue event and integral to mating rituals ATB, Sam
Yeah a plain ol bic lighter or an unopened swiss army knife. why open the sak when you dont have to? anyone else use a bic to open thier beers?
