    I just melt the ends and roll the tips in my fingers. Doesn't need a lot of time in the flame.

    I use an old cheap knife which has scissors on. I heat them until they glow orange and then cut the cord. This leaves a clean cut non burnt edge to the paracord.

    I think that blade might just manage to cut an apple, especially after the regrind and pro sharpen. Not really a Nemesis as such.

    I hold the ends next to the flame, not in the flame. This doesn't turn the paracord black (not as quickly anyway) and keeps it from dripping hot plastic.

    Barely so! Exams went reasonably well although I haven't gotten all of the results yet. So far I passed everything, so it's all good, thanks

    Another question for today. Would you pay more for a wallet than you're likely to ever normally carry in it? Would you want a wallet which if you were to lose it, it would be mourned for more than the loss of the cash and cards?

    Or in other words, however much I lust after the J. Michael Cash & Card in Bison, $75 is just too much. I'm sure it used to be like $49 which (just) would have been doable but at $75, what do you guys think?

    Um are you a member here at all? When was the last time a debit or credit card would have more than $75 spare? That's 'getting past the wife' spare of course...

    This probably should go in the Breakroom:

    A man coming out of a casino is accosted by a homeless guy requesting some spare cash. The man is about to fork over a few bills when he pauses, and says, "Wait a minute! How do I know you're not just going to waltz into the casino and spend it?" The homeless guy says, "Oh--no, I got gamblin' money."
