Wow, what's underneath the sceleton circles? Rust?
Oh boy. I will have my daughter help me on that. Lol. Thank you

That's a forced patina on copper.
the CQC7 (showing some neglect) was my first "tactical" knife, obligatory for carry at the local USPSA match...the McHenry and Williams and Elishewitz (current EDC) were gifts.... I have good friends
Thanks, no hard feelings, but I think I'l never do something to any of my knives, if I actually own one with Cu scales, It looks so gross to me. I'll say again, no hard feelings, just my taste.
First, sorry for double posting.
Hey guys, can anyone tell me how do I get a different (deep carry/oxidized) pocket clip from Benchmade? It's not well known for me the online shopping and I feel weird asking them, and yes it's my problem. I'm an 'over seas' user/owner, so, can anyone tell me what is the fee and shipping cost for getting a pocket clip(s) of my choice? How should I pay if I need to, I have no PayPal...
Best to just email and ask them, they will likely just send one out to you, no charge.
Even to a tiny country in Europe?
Hey, no worries.
We are not all the same, that's a good thing.
And those are Cu plates , totally removable.
I milled out a very thin recess between the CF scale and the steel liner.
So, I can put any material I would like under there to be displayed through the holes.
How about? Mokume, Damascus, Timascus and so on, and so on.....
Wow, didn't know that, that's just amazing! A removable underlayer?!? Great! Try putting a CD layer to look cool!
Airplane travel this week but still got my Benchmade (pen) with me.
I suspect so, yes.
I know they'll do it in the US, because that's how I got mine. I'd happily have paid for it, but they sent it for free. Here's my Grip with the clip from, I believe, a Contego:
Keyman, those copper inserts look great. Your work never ceases to amaze.
Yes ask for contego- they're really nice!-I purchased a clip from that knife makers place in the USA
Me and the Mrs. . .
