e2d defender ultra; 5 lm, 1000 lm. yeah, it'll blow out your night vision indoors; i use the low far more often. like eveything sf, can handle careless drops & rough treatment just fine.
I just picked up a new in box 522 Presidio Ultra. Can someone tell me what year this knife was discontinued by Benchmade?
I apparently posted in this thread ages ago, but can't find the original. I still have the same two Benchmades that I originally purchased. A full-sized drop point Griptilian, and a Mini-Griptilian with the "sheepfoot" blade. Both are standard black handles, 154 CM steel. Both going strong and still getting plenty of use around the house.
Those are the 2 Grips I have also. Mini-Grip was for California trips. I did pick up some Gonzo Axis locks for EDC in my retired years.
