I'm lookin for some advice. Show me some sweet pics of your benchmade dejavoo. And tell me how practical it is, do you carry it or is it a shelf queen.

I have the mini and like it very much. Fit and finish on the entire knife is outstanding. I like the deep carry clip. It's a very smooth opener. The contoured G-10 feels good in the hand. High, flat ground blade cuts efficiently. I even like the spydie hole. I carry it with me at least twice a week when not carrying one of my Ritter mini-grips.

I also have a Mini-Dejavoo....but mine has so far been a safe queen....
it's a "tip downer" and I still have a hard time grabbing that style when I go out...

I do agree with Chavez, it has very smooth and silky operation, and feels great in the hand.
The quality is definately there - overall a very cool knife worth owning!

I have a mini and LOVE it. I have many BM's and this is by far the smoothest action of them all. They can be purchased around $90 if you shop around.

A nearly-on-topic question: will that deep-pocket clip work on an AFCK/AFCK mini? I wouldn't mind getting those deeper in the pocket, and it looks like this DejaVoo clip would do the trick if the screw-hole pattern is identical....

I carry my 745 more than the 740 - the mini is in my pocket a couple of days each week. The 740 on the other hand makes for an awesome kitchen slicer and dicer, it's used more in the house than outside.

On the clip question, the 745/740 clip will NOT fit the AFCK three-hole standard clip pattern, unfortunately.

Tip down or up, I love all my Benchmades but the DeJavoos are among my favorites.

Right now the Mini Dejavoo is my nicest folder. My first and only Benchmade, so far. It fits in the pocket of my jeans very well. Its in my rotation for daily carry.

Well I finally got one I decided on the 740. I am lucky in that my job lets me carry a "larger" knife. Pics will be on the way. Thank you for all your input.

The only issue I had with the 745 Mini is its liner lock. The ergonomics of the handle are amazing - you want to hold this knife after you pick it up for the first time. The liner lock, however, gave me pause and I'd never felt that way about any other knife before...

As a result I ended up selling my 745.

    My $0.02.

My 745 is the the smoothest opening and the best liner lock I own.

Rock solid lock up and easy wrist flick opening.

By far one of the best Benchmades for the $$$$$. AND US Made.

I have not carried any of my Spyderco's since getting my Mini Dejavoo.

I have been carrying my 740 for a couple of weeks now and I love it. This is my first high dollar knife even though i got it for $114. Benchmade has a lifelong customer now. I need to take some cool pics of it. I'll try to get some done pretty soon. I can't say enough. If it wasn't for this forum I'd still be carrying some cheap junk knife. :roof:

I think so, too. After visiting this forum and others related to knives I recognize an expert opinion when I see one, now. Thanks.

My quest now is to find the Spyderco Chinese Folder in any color with a PE.
