I tend to wear a rigger type webbing belt (usually cheap ones). I'm noticing recently that wearing a belt tight enough to hold my trousers, is giving me sciatica pain in my left leg.

I have two of their hybrids, these are one-of-the-best tactical belts on the market extant. Fast service, and a great product!

Here's one I had someone make me a long time ago. I ordered it with red contrast stitching:[IMG]

A few years ago, I bought a few belts from some of the Amish craftspersons selling on the popular auction site. I bought three black 1.25-inch belts with simple tooling on the leather, and roller buckles. I have been very happy with the quality and utility of their products. No more cheap belts that disintegrate immediately! An occasional treatment with Pecard leather dressing keeps them in good shape.

Work: trayvax cinch( can’t carry my gun at work sadly)

Concealed carry: blue alpha gear low profile EDC belt. Recently dethroned my trayvax as an edc belt.

Dress up: black leather belt(forgot name)

I've had the same Dickies double-prong black leather work belt for over 15 years and it's got to be my favorite belt.

For a time, when I wanted to carry..... heavier things.... on my belt, I bought a 5.11 Operator 1.75" belt, and while it worked well for it's intended purpose it was also somewhat uncomfortable to wear: my bony hips didn't seem to like the inflexibility of the belt. Then I got too fat for that belt to fit and had to buy another, so I opted for the same belt in the 1.5" variety as it fit my jeans better. I like them and generally recommend them to people looking for that style of belt, for that purpose.

Eventually though I stopped carrying the heavier things and went back to my old Dickies belt. It holds my pants up just fine and is still stiff enough to support a lighter-weight thing that I occasionally hang from it.

For dress attire I have a couple of cheap Dickies dress belts, one brown and one black. They do their job fine for what they are.

This thread's reminded me just how old my favorite belt is: need to go get another one before they stop making them.
