Anyone wear a Red Kap mechanics belt? Needing to replace / upgrade my current reversible, and thinking all-black is the right option.

About 8 years ago I bought 3 Amish made leather belts, 2 black, 1 brown. They are tough as nails, and have held up everything I have asked them to.

I have to wear a tie about once every 2-3 years. When I wear a tie, I have a generic leather dress belt.

The rest of the time, I am dressed business casual, or wearing khaki BDU pants or blue jeans. When I am dressed like that, I use either 5.11 TDU belts or Blackhawk BDU belts.

I wear a Grip6 it's a nylon webbing belt with a flat metal buckle. They have several belt/buckle combos. Very comfortable and works great for business or casual.

Got the Red Kap belt today, and pleased — design is interesting — the holed end, passes under the buckle end, so no need for a keeper. Thinking I may try to fit some odd tool or knife in-between the twain — currently the end of the buckle sticks out a bit which I mislike.

Made in the U.S.A., so really hoping it holds up well and lasts.

Most days I wear a Wilderness Tactical 5-stitch. On days that I need/want a dressier belt, I have a leather one from A Better Belt.

Wilderness belts hold up pretty well. I've worn mine most days since I got it in 2009 and its still in pretty good shape.

I got a couple belts from bullhide belts. I like the quality and the different options you have like thickness and clasps.

I went with the SuperBio belt from Daltech Force for wearing my concealed carry holsters. The belt is very rigid vertically which is good for holding up a holster but still flexible enough to fit through belt loops quite easily. I typically wear my belt with jeans or cargo pants/shorts, with and without holsters. Works great and I'm sure I will have this belt for many years to come.

I also have the SuperBio Belt, a black one and a brown one. I've had them for 7 months or so, and your right they are stiff but very manageable. Before I settled on that belt I tried a few others but they weren't the kind of belts that I could wear with nice clothes.

    -5.11 double duty green/black
    -French army issued
    -Casual leather

(FYI, ladies don't like tactical belts to open up when it's cuddle time together :nah_disagree: 'nuff said)

At work (office) I wear 5.11 stitched leather casual belts. They easily hold up my Springfield XDs IWB. They also have a cool handcuff key pouch sewed inside the back of the belt. I bought them on eBay for $20 each.

With jeans I wear a Hanks Amish Deputy belt. At 1.25" I can wear with dress pants as well. It's rock solid.

For cargo and tactical pants I like the 5.11 tactical belt. The Velcro keeps everything in place.
