The velcro on my Wilderness Tactical Instructor belt has worn to the point that it isn't holding as securely. Are there any tips for perking up worn velcro? I know I can send the belt back for refurbishment, but I thought I would check here first for any suggestions.
I carefully unpicked the hook side (on the end of the belt) and stitched a new bit on (I actually do it about once a year, the first bit lasted a few years though, the velcro i get is poorer quality)
Wilderness replaced my velcro for free. I had to pay shipping there and back but I think it was a total of $7 US.
Thanks for all of the responses. I have an Aegis Enhanced belt, and just bought an Aegis Original, so the Instructor belt is probably going to live in my car bag with extra clothes, boots, etc. I may still send it back for velcro replacement. I think it's worth the minimal investment to have that done.
