the Velcro I was waiting on came (no flashlight though!) so my girlfriend busted out the sewing machine and sewed on one of the patches for me. County pride!

I sound like a broken record...

But someone needs a small pry bar. Shard is more than worth it, just to have convenient, to save a SAK tool from snapping off.

You guys are multiplying! When Oz Attacks........

Born and bred mate, from Grantham. Didn't appreciate it 'til I left, but now anything I see or hear about Grantham, or Lincs and I'm waving a flag proudly haha.

I keep meaning to get one - didn't get the hype about them, thought everyone on here was an idiot for having one..

..then I broke the tip off my Delica using it to open a tin of paint. Gutted.

I'm just north of Lincoln, I get to drive around the county most of the day and never tire of the scenery.

Naw, as far as I know they haven't had any events in Aus. Have you done any of 'em?

It's a beast of a bag eh. You could tie it to the back of a car, drive it around and it'd probably still look brand new.

I have done one Challenge. Hoping to do another and a Heavy at some point in the next 2-3 years. If memory serves they have done one or two smaller Challenges in the Sydney area, but don't have any planned right now. Anyhow, the bag is amazing.

I have a silvertec Vic as well. I bought it because I got it for a great price... It has turned out to be one of my favorite scales! They look so much better in person. Nice stuff!

Yikes! Yeah... A dedicated pry bar is always in my arsenal. That stinks!

There are really cheap ones on the bay. Some of them you'll have to file to a nice edge.

But the shard is probably Gerber's best product.

It doesn't need to be fancy - make one in your garage from an old knife or something.

Fiiiiiiiinally got my P25LC2. Gets hot as soon as you put turn it to turbo haha, but it seems to be a good little light. SC600W mkii l2 is still my favourite tint, but this is pretty sweet too.

Going to have to patrol the perimiter (aka wander around the garden) tonight I think!

Clif bars were from iherb.com, about 22 AUDs a box plus shipping ($13 US for 13lb of weight iirc) and they've got a good 5 or 6 flavours you can't get here too.

Crazy part is the shipping is DHL express, 3 days last time from the US to here for almost nothing.

Now I've got the Case back I want to get around to polishing the back blade.. It was from my first ever attempt at sharpening, and didn't bloody go well hah.

And this is what my light gets most often used for - a lamp
