I see the bacon in Nex~gen's burger. Where is it in your posted pic, Jim? Jiminy, the pickles are on top. Ha, Jon, I'm one of those who still makes lemonade from scratch from my kitchen edc book, Betty Crocker's Picture Cookbook. Simple syrup with lemon rinds, heated, and then add the juice and ice and water. Can't beat it. As a kid, we used good ole Log Cabin syrup on our pancakes and waffles and margarine (ach). Then my parents switched to real maple syrup and butter, and I've not used anything else since. Life's too short for fake food. I've picked up the bacon chocolate bars, but I've yet to take the plunge and buy one. I did love the chocolate bar with goji berries and pink Himalayan sea salt. I imagine it is the salt of the bacon that goes well with the chocolate bar. I do enjoy chocolate-covered potato chips and pretzels. It's the salt factor.
Good point, a little salt does intesify the taste of chocolate. At least, I have a good chocolate cake recipe that includes a pinch of salt for that reason and it does seem to work. Mmmm.... chocolate... :smitten:
Everything is better with bacon. The bacon chocolate bars are yummy. The extreme baconologist takes it to the next level with bacon ice cream. I borrowed the candied bacon from this recipe and added it to my own ice cream. Yummy!!

What?!?!?! They do? I had tried the bacon Gordita Crunch, the sauce with it kinda sucked but that bacon with it rocked. The option might only be at certain locations though, I hope mine has it. Thanks!
95% of the time I will go for bacon on my burger. And by burger I mean CHEESEburger. There is no such thing as a burger without cheese, much in the same way there is no burger without being made from a dead animal of some sort...although turkey is pushing it in my opinion It is possible to have a good burger without it, but then you are normally talking about a specialty burger...like a chilli burger or a p-nut butter burger...wait scratch that. My p-nut butter burger HAD bacon on it

I too make my own tacos, but I love the sauce in the Cheesy Gordita Crunch, can't find anything like it, same with the steak quesadilla sauce. Bell's meat by itself isn't too great.
