Hello, Torba mini owner here. From your facebook page, I thought you might not be doing backpacks for civilians anymore. Are you still doing them for civilians? Also, I have been looking at your facebook for over a year now, and I was wondering do you ever do large backpacks? Thanks,
Hello, rcw357! No, I continue to make backpacks for civilians. I stopped taking orders because of the work that I do for Source Tactical Gear , as a designer and sample maker. We are currently working on several projects, and I physically do not have enough time to manufacture backpacks. In September, I will resume production of backpacks. Basically I have a model packs a volume of 15 to 40 liters. I can make large (up to 110 liters) backpacks, but they are very expensive. Now the average price of a small backpack in the range of 220-250 dollars.
Kotomka 1 features a lower platform to secure the Torba Mini and other gear which is great a system. I was not aware of this until just after I puchased my Torba. Seeing the Torba Mini has a been incorporated into the design elements of a larger system opens up many possibilties by subdividing the Kotomka's capacity. Awesome engineering there Bora! And still I'm finding it a challenge to decide between the Kotomka 1 & 2.....both have their merits. Red Five
Do you have any examples in the 40-60L range? I understand the cost will be up there, but for custom goods its worth it.
Hi comrades! Sorry, I was very busy (one military/police gear tender with Source)... So, to rcw357: No, I have no ready-made models to 40-60 liters, since I did not plan to make them in the near future. Reason: the estimated high cost and, accordingly, the highest price for the customer. Furthermore, these models require additional materials, in particular aluminum inserts for the back. To CANNIBALdinner: I was planning to resume production of backpacks in September, but maybe I'll do it in July. The cost of the backpack $220 - 250, depending on the models and variations. Production for 3-4 weeks, after payment. Free shipping. Write me, please, to: sarma.development@gmail.com - which version of the backpack is needed. Basically there are six variants of Kotomka 1: 1) Kotomka 1 PALS 15L 2) Kotomka 1 COMBY 15L 3) Kotomka 1 ZIP 15L 4) Kotomka 1 OUTDOOR 15 L 5) Kotomka 1 PALS 22L 6) Kotomka 1 ZIP 22L More variants: https://www.facebook.com/SarmaCustomMade/photos/?tab=albums
