I like autos but never carry the 2 I have. I find I prefer the simplicity and versatility of a manual knife more than autos for actual use. Fun to play with though, and I do use them at home when I don't have to worry about scaring people.
How do you like that Ganzo? I ordered one on a whim but I had read good things about it. I really wanted a larger aut that I could really abuse and not worry about it. I have a Kershaw Launch 4--I HIGHLY recommend it.
I have a few auto knives of almost every type. I prefer the out the front double actions the most since I can deploy and retract the blade the easiest. For my side opening auto, I find I often his the pivot screw in error, have to look down and find the deployment button, assuming there is no additional safety switch. I find it is still easier for me to deploy with thumb stud, spider hole or flipper tab and easiest with an Emerson Wave.
