The Little Ka-Bar knife spoke to me and I had to grab it,
The Sporky thing will hopefully fill the spot in my organiser that lots of travel cutlety has failed to do and I think the little buff could be a good emergency 'thing'!
Thanks everyone who put in the items and Ill send the box on tomorrow if all goes to plan.

I really liked the look of that tool, it was hard to give up, but it is unused

Been trying different cutlery for a while and the lite stuff packs poorly and the heavy ones nest well. The eat n tool may just be what I'm after

Box has been delivered according to tracking, but I'm out for the day so it's probably waiting sadly by the door for me to get back :(

Nah mate. Tried the CR123's from another light that's in there, and it just doesn't light up. Rangertroop said there was something in the box when he got it that didn't work which I assume is that. Shame eh.

Yeah, that was it. I was a bit torn between maintaining the "suprise" factor and giving a heads up. I cleaned the contacts with alcohol and tried a fresh 123. After that I realised it was beyond my skill set.

I've left it in for now, incase someone with a bit more knowhow wants to try getting it to work or send it off.

Anyway, here's my take from this one.

    [IMG][IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]

Lowepro zip pouch. Took pity on this one as it's been in a while, figured it'll be good to throw in the bottom of my bag with cables and misc things in. I love my Gorucks, but :censored: a bit more internal storage would be nice sometimes.
Leatherman C33. Lost my one workhorse, a Delica Wave, a few weeks ago and been going crazy trying to find something to replace it.. this should do the job nicely.
Case Sodbuster. First knife I ever bought was a Case, bit of a sentimental take this one.
The missus fell in love with the Laguiole - 'finally something that looks pretty' - anything that gets her excited about EDC I figure it going to benefit me in the end so she took that.. funny enough I'm the one that ended up putting something(s) in to cover it

Thanks to everyone that put in, looking forward to see how it progresses from here out!

Off to the PO to get it off to Geoff tomorrow!

did you try the positive terminals of the battery pointing towards the switch and not the LED? (I hope that makes sense)

if we're talking about the light that uses 2 123's. The time in transit must of fixed it, I tried with the batteries facing the switch and it came up good.
