Does anyone know what Mr.Atwood has coming out next?
I heard that he was returning to some old designs... :-X
Nevermind he updated his blog.
I hope he posts those g3's soon
Wish he would do some more MSOPT again,i found his site too late to purchase one of those.
Besides obsessively checking his blog, is there any other way to get my hands on one of his tools?
I saw them for sale years ago, but now that I can afford one (sort of) I can't find one! :brickwall:
There are usually some for sale in the BST here all of the time. Ebay always has them, about 50% of them with huge mark-ups by people looking for a big profit, but sometimes you can get tools new in bag for slightly over what Peter sold them for. Really depends on which tool you want, since he's created dozens.
Thanks nbmaine2007! Every time he posts something new, I seem to check right after her sells out.
Well, bookeriv like nbmaine2007 said, you have to constantly check his website.I've been looking for a msopt, and have found some, but some people, like nbmaine2007 said about 50% of them with huge mark-ups by people looking for a big profit.I understand someone wanting to make making a profit, but to gouge the hell out of someone is ridculous, just ain't right. So therefore i'll do with out.
Of course, if you haunt the B/S/T thread, you still better be pretty quick.
I don't hate Heath for snatching up the Keyton.
But it's a close, close thing. ;D
I don't believe that there were many SOPT's made (compared to some of his runs today), and few if any made recently. So the demand for them is huge. Lots of newer Atwood fans have managed to score some of the newer tools (Prybabies, Superbugs, etc.) and then are really wanting some of the less available ones. I hear you on the price, but at the same time it is supply and demand. People aren't going to risk selling them for $100 so someone else can turn around and sell it for $200.
Have you seen the MSOPT in someone's hand in pics? It's really small. Too small for me. I'd love a regular SOPT.
Your right,nbmaine2007.... i understand, guess i was looking at one side of it.....my side.I wanted a msopt to carry and use not for it to sit in a safe. Your right though on people turning it around to make more of a profit. By the way,I think deemskeet has a SOPT for sale in the BST thread. Thanks
indabayou: also, check out JDR (http://www.phlaunt.com/jdrknifeandtool/)
