Good eye, Ian.  The booger is 20 turn twist damasteel.  It's passed through a few hands, but has held up pretty well.

The guy who sold me the skeeter said he thought the pattern was "turkish twist", but he wasn't sure anymore.  I will ask Peter once the dust settles on the new PC and the SOPT sale.

Now lets see that dam microcard please.

This 5 Turn Twist Damasteel Nano Card Knife was my first damascus Atwood. I do not wish to give you guys false hope, so I must tell you up front that it's headed to a new home this week. :bolt:

Agreed, the damascus pieces are very beautiful... almost more like jewelry than a tool.

Peter Atwood has recently made available the popular Son of Prything and Mini Son of Prything tools. The FEVER for "bladed Atwood" tools has spiked again!

Here is one of these popular MSOPT's in Damascus.

Matching set...that's awesome. Atwood folders stand alone and to have a matching Ti Prybaby is really SWEET!

Yes. All of the McGizmo PDs except for a handful of early ones have trits installed. I sent Don the orange trit to match the orange light and he was kind enough to swap out the existing green trit for me.

McGizmo lights set the standard for the custom flashlight world.

I just realized that I can't really afford Atwood tools...200 bucks almost for a sopt or msopt....it takes more almost 2 days to earn that much money after taxes and all.....and considering you can get a bradley alias for around that much...or around 400 bucks for a Glock...i really have trouble putting down the cash for a blade. I REALLY want one tho...sigh...what a dilemna... :(

I agree, matching sets are where it's at!! :smitten:

    Smallest folder yet:

    Emerald Arc

    Snakeskin Patterned Ti Linerlock
Dual Dyed Stabilized California Buckeye Burl Scales
    S30V Drop Point Blade
Dual Thumbstuds w/ synthetic emerald inlays
Snakeskin Patterned Ti Tip Down Pocket Clip
    Blade length: 2-3/8"
    Sharp Length: 2"
    Closed Length: 3-5/8"
    Overall Length: 5-7/8"

The Emerald Arc is my most recent score and has been in my pocket since I received it Saturday. :) Pictured with my oldest PryBaby (S30V), which I believe is the only Atwood tool that I own that has a grind on the reverse. Anyone else have an early Pry with a grind on the reverse? I will take more pics of it at some point for you guys.

Nay!!!! Atwood folders stand together!!!! :p

So Soupy...I recall sitting with you talking about Atwoods, and your lack of any of his folders. That was earlier this year. So you've gone from 0 to how many in the scope of a few months?

2008 has been quite the good year for ya!
