So, most of the Atwoods have bottle openers, and that is 1 thing that I will be using a lot, a few times a day, a few times a week.

I have heard some bad things about some of the designs, like you have to try it a few times to pop the cap off, such as the Nibble.

Which tool would be best for the bottle opener? A prybaby? Atwrench? Which gen? Triangle?

Thanks for your input, I'm excited my EDC KC is almost complete (well, until it changes, right?)

The Superbug can pop a cap on one try and is as good as any other keychain bottle opener ive had.

Despite owning a Nibble i cant remember off hand using it to pop a cap, but i cant imagine it would be that bad since it is basically the same as the Superbug. I also own a Ghostbaby and i cant imagine the opener being very good at all but never used it to try.

Yeah, I would second the Superbug. I EDC that on one keychain, and a Brewdriver on the other. The Brewdriver does require a second pry sometimes, but the Superbug almost always works in one. The Nibble was my first Atwood, and I agree that it's not the best for opening a cold one. My G4 Prybaby works good too.

+3 on the superbug as an effective opener. I also don't have any problem using my Prybaby Mini + which is currently on my keys. My favorite all time Atwood opener though is the Microspud. Love the long handle!

Never noticed short comings with my Nibble. The AtWrench is a solid cap lifter as well as a simple PryBaby. Atwrench probably best I have experienced.

I use a MicroSpud or a G1 PryBaby. Both work great on one try.

I was very excited to use my ti gasbaby to open a Friday afternoon beer the day I got it in the mail... But it just would not work, boohoo! I've since got a chigger which works a treat!

I used to break off entire bottle heads with my old Prybaby XL Keychain Edition. Now with the Chigger everything goes smoothly.

Best I have is the superbug, closely followed by the atwrench.

I think the opener on the Perfbaby works best. Other models can actually break the bottle. But the original Superbug gets more use as it stays on my key ring.

I like my Bottlebug just fine. Would love to try a Superbug, though as it is smaller.

I only have a G3 Prybaby. It took some getting used to, you really have to use some leverage. It works in one shot but I sure hope it ain't the easiest of the Atwoods. Still love the tool though.

I've got a JDR tool that works beautifully.
