Are multi level lites really usefull ?

    I love my Surefire A2! I always default to using it on low, but when the LEDs aren't enough, BAM, I have bright white incandescent light. When the batteries are insufficient to power the incan, I put the batteries in my X5, which I use around the house.

    I :smitten: my McLux PD's!! Two very useful, regulated levels of light. The Surfire L2 is great too.

    I'm not a big fan of those that use PCM chips (pulse code modulation- I think :idiot2:). As I understand it, this technology always lights the LED at full power- but controls the brightness by pulseing it very rapidly for high power, or slower for lower levels. The low level flickering annoyes me...

    Depending on the frequency, you won't notice.
