I use a old 70's era Scripto mechanical pencil. As seen here. One of these is my EDC. I purchased a bunch off of ebay before they went crazy with pricing. And I have enough leads to last me more than a few lifetimes. One of my EDC fountain pens is a Waterman C/F from 1955.
I ordered the Uni Kuru Toga last night, not the roulette model. If I like it, I'll definitely order the roulette. I told my friend about it and he literally squealed. He'd never seen it (neither had I until a week ago) so he ordered it. He loves it so now I ordered one. Can't wait. Being a fountain pen nut, a good pencil will be something completely different for me.
Old habits... I'm never far from a mechanical drafting pencil, 0.7mm HB lead. Eventually they get dropped and the tip bends, and they are retired for a new, identical model. The color of the body corresponds to the lead thickness, and I've grown to associate good things with that color. Works on so many different levels.
Great collection You should look into an autopoint can buy direct from them or Shinola has a cool special edition , the classic American old school mechanical pencil The jump all American pretty cool, not my favorite writing pencil for every day office use but retro cool nonetheless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You mean it's the one that does not rotate the lead ? The one that rotates the lead is the one, by far one of my top if not the top favorite pencil for writing, very excellent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
