I've already made the decision to try one for my Walther PPS, but I'm just curious if anyone has used a Hidden Hybrid Holster? All the reviews I've seen have been very complimentary of the workmanship and comfort of this unique holster than can work either IWB or OWB. I ordered one yesterday and their website indicates there is a 2 to 4 week lead time. I have been a long time Remora fan/user and this will be a bit of a departure for me. Here is a link to their site:

Hmm... no comments, I'm not sure that's a good thing?? So much for the 2 to 4 week lead time... I got notice it shipped yesterday.

They look very similar to the comp-tac holsters. If they're anything close to them, you'll be happy with it

Well, their 2 to 4 week lead time turned into shipped the next day. It appears to be made from quality materials and I like the suede backing. I ordered the left-hand model and you can see in the picture the molding of the kydex is well done - even the slide release is there and the retention is good. Carried the PPS once, along with a new Amish CCW belt from Hank's Clothier and was happy with the comfort and security of the rig. I'm still a Remora fan, but think this will really be nice for those times I have to tuck in my shirt or other applications.

Mind doing an update in the future? I really want a PPS and this would appear to be an ideal holster.

Sure - I'll try to remember to do an upate after I've used everything some more.

That looks nice! I checked the website and it makes sense; no huge price difference in this and other higher end hybrid holsters. My foxx does well for 30 bucks! The hiddenhybrid looks cool though.

They are really nice holsters. The leather is nice and thick. Just a heads up though I wouldn't tuck a really nice shirt in around it because it will stain the shirt.

My dad (a 30+ year veteran of the local PD) has been singing the praises of his HH holster. I might snag one at some point, but I am content with the whitedog kydex I'm currently using for the moment.

For what it's worth I think that's really sharp looking aesthetically. Are there any strong selling points vs. other brands? I have been looking at White Hat Holsters, the fact that you can switch out kydex on them is pretty cool.

This is my first hybrid-type holster. I usually use Remora holsters, but do have an N82 Tactical that really isn't the same. That makes answering this difficult, however the biggest difference to me is the ability to use the same holster IWB or OWB and the suede backing.

Do you take off the clips to use it OWB or just let them...dangle?

I've only used it IWB so far, however this fall/winter when I wear an outer garment I plan to. When I do, I'm going to take them off, but I've read other places they can be left on if you want.
