Anyone else use gear ties?

It was littlequick's idea. I just demonstrated it so he could see what it looked like.

I've used one to curl around a small flashlight so it can stand on its own.

I've used them to attach a light to a piece of pipe/tubing so I can work handsfree.

There are more uses for 'em than my semi-creative brain can come up with. Neat item(s) for EDC'ers.

 

I've found you can use them on bread bags to keep the bread fresh. Oh wait....

The Sports Authority near me carries an entire rolling rack of Nite Ize merch.

 

I was in my local gander mountain and a lot of the niteize stuff was on clearance, including a few sizes of gear ties. Picked up a couple packages for next to nothing and have been putting them to good use.

i keep 2 gear ties(18inch) in my moab6 and its very handy for tie my beach towel on the bag and also used it as an emergency tripos to hold the camera so i can also be in the picture
