So I sold my stealth Vanishing Point awhile back to pay bills while the Significant other was laid up after surgery. Finally got a chance to order myself a new one this weekend, a matte black and gunmetal. Didn't hurt that they were running a 15% sale for Memorial Day. $120 was hard to turn down for one of my favorites.

my younger son is really into mechanical pencils. he's in 4th grade.. his last one was.. Pentel Graph Gear 1000 Automatic Drafting Pencil in .5 mm.. before that.. some Uni Kuru Toga and some module thing where you can keep 2 pen and one pencil.. i think that was Zebra Sharbo X LT3 Pen.. he usually has few mechanical pencils with him at all time... i just need to teach him what to do with them in case he needs to defend himself.. lol

First pen in quite a while. Ordered an EN Alpha from Jason. Can't wait to try this out. Trying to decide between the Fineliner and the rollerball but the way Jason talks about the Fineliner, it may have to be first.

Now, what to write on? Rhodia?

Thanks to the grail pen thread, and two little pots of extra money I came in to this week, I've just received a TWSBI Micarta V2 and there is a Visconti Homosapiens Bronze Lava Oversize out there with my name on it. My two 'grail' pens. In the same week. What ever am I going to swoon over in future? Why bother living :p

600 bucks for a pen? the mind boggles.

I received a Parson's Essential today, along with a Reform 1745, and both perform like pens at much higher cost brackets. Oh and there's a couple of Wahl Eversharp vintage pens (a Skyline and a 703 Loewy cap) on their way. These may need restoring though.

I have a Zebra Surari Sharbo 1000 on the way. I love Zebra pens, and I love Jetpens, and they just got this in :) Black and red ball point pens and a mechanical 0.5mm pencil in one. It'll go in my little shoulder bag that I use mostly on a daily basis.

I just ordered yet another Pilot Metro. This will be my 4th one. 2 with M nibs and 2 with F nibs. Also ordered a sample of Noodler's Black Swan in English Rose.

nothing coming in as far as pen is concerned. few mechanical pencils for my kids, blunt syringe to fill my TWSBI Micarta, and FN to waste more ink while i'm not at home.

Ti Click RT, already have the Pro, want a smaller version for pocket carry. So impressed with these, light and great to write with, looking forward to being able to pop a fisher space cartridge in the new one.

Got the Hinderer Investigator in the other day. Immediately thought to myself, "I paid $57 bucks for this?!" and promptly returned it the next day. Cool design but not worth the money.

I just ordered a second Kaweco classic, this one in black with XF nib along with some J.Herbin cartridges. One set in grey and the other I tea brown. Previously I only used the Kaweco carts but the J.Herbin are also the short international size. The fine nib on my blue Kaweco feels a bit medium-ish so thought I'd try the extra fine.

Both Diamine and Private Reserve also sell ink in Int. Short cartridges if you still crave more variety. I'm sure there are others, but those are the two I've tried, cartridge wise.
