So does anybody have that certain knife they always go back to? I have a case trapperlock that I always seem to keep using in my edc. I've tried plenty others such as spyderco, crkt, bench made and for some reason I always go back to that old case trapperlock.

For 20 years it was a progression of SAK Tinkers. Most recently I've swapped the Tinker for a Cadet. Something about the SAK design aesthetic just works for me.

I really like the Large Case Trapper; and the Large Case Stockman almost as much. The Case Canoe gets honorable mention. But,............i always bounce back and forth between classic Case designs, and more modern Kershaw designs, such as the Freefall and the Skyline. The Clip blade on the Trapper is awesome though.

I guess for me it's teh Victorinox Executive, since one of those has been a constant companion for several decades now.

Yep, FKMD FX-121MC aka Wilson Combat ELC, I got it ~2,5yrs ago (only started to get into knives about three years ago) it was one of my first more expensive knives(cost a Fortune for me at the time), started my love for N690 and I still carry and fiddle it more or less often

I seem to have more variations of SAK than anything else; usually they show up when it is their turn in my habitual weekly rotation. But I'm thinking of altering things so that either a Super Tinker or my Huntsman will always be with me, with everything else having to take turns in rotation. Just something about the SAK utility vibe that I really like.

    L'chaim!

I've been carrying a SAK variation more and more over the last few years. Usually a Pioneer, but my latest (essentially a Delemont small Tinker equivalent with ergo-lution scales) has been getting some pocket time as well.

For the record, I'm still a sucker for Ibach Vics... something about the Delemont ones just doesn't feel right to me.

The Spyderco Endura 4 and Victorinox Cadet are two that I'm almost never without.

Benchmade Ritter Minigrip, S30V. I carry it over 90% of the time.

I bought the M390 version of it and it's been a safe queen, this one has been such a good friend I don't want to give it up.

Not *A* knife, but Victorinox SAKs in general. Especially the traditional, common cellidor handled ones. It's a mix of nostalgia, functionality and aesthetics behind the appeal.

ZT's for me, started with the 0566 then the 0350 and now I am rocking the 0301. With each step I have tried to go back to the previous to switch things up but end up going to back to the status quo the next day.

Love the SAK Tinker!! Always a good knife. I have a passion for the SAK Nylon Solo, just a good sized single blade. But honestly I've been carrying a CRKT Drifter a lot the last few months. Hate the pocket clip, but the overall size disappears in my pocket

I have always had a love affair with the ZT 0300 series. The 0302 with tan scales is my favorite, but has long been discontinued. I was saving up for a 0300BW but then they were discontinued as well.

To me it's the perfect knife - overbuilt, organic recurve and great materials. I hope to find one again someday :(
