Next people will actually start using their exercise machines instead of just hanging clothes from them. This is the road to madness and ruination. :frantic:

I keep trying on those 5.11 thin stretchy gloves (non leather ;) ) when I'm at Academy (they have two diff pairs, not sure if those are the only two they make or not) but I am still on the fence about them

I carry and use a pair of Mechanix FastFit gloves daily. Current ones are Hi-Vis model with safety green and reflective material on the backs. I work until late at night and anything to help cars see me is appreciated. And, when the weather warms a bit more, I'll be wearing motorcycle gloves when I ride my bike around.

I keep a pair of Mechanix gloves in my EDC bag...

Keep a pair of very thick leathers in the truck for working with chains/straps...

Lot's of people in my area get stuck playing in the mud!

I have them on hand for loading and unloading trucks (18 wheelers, not little trucks) at work, and in my car, just basic leather gloves... I do not see the need to EDC them however...

I carry nitrile and Duluth work gloves in my "oh gollie" bag. The Duluth Trading Co. gloves have got to be one of my favorite pairs along with Stanley Hi-Dex. They provide a reasonable amount of protection while allowing you to still work with cordage, tie shoes, etc. At first I balked at paying $15-25 per pair, but they hold up well and are totally worth it when you start doing any task that requires any kind of dexterity at all.

I've heard some of the Duluth trading co gloves have a lifetime warranty too. Seems pretty worthwhile.

I keep some of the ubiquitous brown, leather work gloves in my truck, and I have some UnderArmour tacticool gloves in my EDC bag.

I keep a couple pairs of those cheap leather gloves in my car, and I would put a pair in my lunchbox when I worked for a local logging company.

Actually, my gf insisted I save a kitten one night, and they came in quite handy in dealing with the sharp fangs and claws.....

Oh, don't get me wrong....I'm no softy......those count as 'emergency food supplies' should I need them......

ok, no, i'm just a big cuddly teddy bear...
