Hey guys! I'm in the market for a wallet knife right now. Apparently, I'm going to obsess until the right one is seated comfortably in my wallet, Haha. Anyways. Looking for something made out of steal. Plastic and all that stuff is unwelcome in my unrelenting life. I'm comfortable with the card or knife platform. Doesn't matter to me. Although a little tiny framelock would be cute. I like big knives and big, goofy blade shapes.

I've inquired with Channing Watson over at HavocWorks. If he can commission his credit card knife for me, it's a done deal. His style, craftmanship, and the crazy gimping on that knife just get me. But if he isn't interested, I will keep this thread alive until I have my new toy! Hopefully I find one before deployment :)

    Thank you for your time!

Perhaps an Izula and this wallet?

Thank you for the suggestion! I'm looking for something to drop into me T.H.E. Wallet, actually. I deploy a lot and it's nice to be able to tether my wallet to my vest or pack. I plan on keeping the wallet that I've got! Thanks again!

Heck yeah, I've been eyeballing that Boker. I'm on duty right now (sigh) so I can't check out some youtube vids yet until I get off tomorrow haha.

Six String's Credit Card Knife Collection might give you some ideas. If you one interests you, you might want to convo Six for details on it.

Does it have to be a wallet carry knife?

In any case, if you carry a front pocket wallet, you can look into offerings by Victorinox and Tool Logic.

Maybe a Douk-Douk? They are pretty thin, and might carry well in a wallet. Just something to think about...

I carried this little Case Executive in my wallet for a while. Nice and flat, and upscale. No plastic, as requested ;)

Spydercard, Spydercard, does whatever a Sypdercard can.... :p

This is mine, pictured next to my homemade ultra-slim wallet. Both the Moleskine Volant and the Spydercard will fit in the wallet. The Spydercard is actually a surprisingly good wallet knife, though it's a little hefty for every day carry since I already EDC a few other knives.

The Mercator K55 "Black Cat" knife is more my style (pictured next to my #9 Opinel).

It's super slim and light, but has a great blade and handle shape. And it's got a solid lockup system. While the raised locking bar may look dangerously exposed, it's not a problem with most common knife grips.

This knife is similar to the Douk-Douk in construction, slimness, and weight, but I prefer the K55 for it's locking blade and lanyard bail. Because this knife is so slim, it can be carried effortlessly in a slim pocket holster or long wallet.

I used to dismiss these in my younger days for not being tacticool, but over the years I've really come to appreciate the elegant simplicity and utility that these knives pack in such a small package.

My K55 is made of carbon steel (though you can also get it in stainless if you prefer). Like the Opinel it takes a good edge and tends to develop a patina over time. You can see the beginning of a patina on my K55 and the more developed patina on my Opinel. Neither have been artificially enhanced, these are honest patinas (the Opinel is much older, hence the greater discoloration).

Victorinox Swisscard! I've carried one for a decade or so, never failed me. I only just took it out of my wallet, getting used to business trips this summer

I have a Victorinox Secretary that fits inside my wallet. I can't even tell if its there until I open my wallet.

If you’re not limited to CC shape, how about an Alox Bantam?

If you're a fan of thin and can find a Shivworks Lil Loco, PM me immediately so I can snap it up first!...

jk :p But seriously, it's 3 inches total length, flat, and s30v steel. There's also the TOPS ALRT 01 which is 1095 carbon and 1/2" longer.
