Upgraded from a Rebel SL1 to a 6D a few weeks ago. I found a nice deal on the body and got a separate Sigma 24-105 for it for less than the Canon kit.

I've even started to make it part of my EDC kit, as I've unofficially become the official photographer of any work event. Broken down, it fits perfectly into a Lowerpro Format 140 case, that slips into the bottom of my bag.

I have a couple decent older AF lenses. But they are not compatible to the newer versions. And without a job I can't even source an older body.

But then I don't have a home computer since it does.

So my phone camera is all I got.

I went and looked at Houston Camera Exchange. Got my eye on a Canon 40D body which I'm told will work with my lenses.
Only need a couple hundred dollars...

I'm actually thinking about selling it. It's all practically brand new. Have taken less then 200 shots

Why did you buy a full frame like that if you don't mind me asking. I see it more and more that people sell this kind of kit with under a thousand shots on it and it always makes me wonder why.

I actually bought it with the full intentions of using it a lot and making trips to shoot all kinds of things. However, as with anything, life happens and some things prevent me from doing what I intended.

To counter all these heavy weight DSLR systems, here's a feather weight Pentax Q. It's not the size but how you use it. ;)

I carry a D810 with a bag full of lenses in my car daily. My favorite combo by far is the D810/200 f2. Yes, it lives in my trunk every day. Its as heavyweight as it gets, but worth every ounce.

I can't imagine the D850 being a large enough jump from the D810 for me to buy one. I don't need the additional FPS, don't really like articulating screens and don't need the extra resolution.

As soon as our new Fiscal Year money comes in, I'm having work buy me one. It'll be an easier sell than a D5!

I use a Nikon D3200, I have a 55 mm wide lens and a 300mm zoom, tripod and spare battery etc. I travel light as I'm taking photos of cars. All in my rush 24. Here are a couple of pics.[IMG][IMG]

I'm hopefully coming at this someday from Canon AE-1 and EOS650. I look through viewfinders. The first digital camera I had was a Sony that used floppy disk and was a few seconds behind asking it to take a picture and it actually doing so. But someday I will have a DSLR.

I got late into the photography game. By that time digital cameras were pretty much what they are today. My first camera I actually owned was a Nikon compact camera I bought around 2007. So I quickly got used to rear screens. After that it was DSLR's and heavy camera bags... cause I couldn't choose what to bring in case I needed it. Now days I use mirrorless cause they're small, compact and light, exactly like my first camera was.. The circle of life I guess haha!
