I was going that route of being cashless until I realized service was better at some places when cash was used. I use a magnetic clip to carry the bills in my front pocket. A keychain tool frequently attaches eliminating any pocket noise.

offtopic but sort of related: An interesting case before the supreme court from NY has been heard but no opinion has been issued. In NY, merchants can list the price as $1.00 for cash customers and $1.10 for credit card customers or $1.10 with a 10 cent "discount" for cash customers. The merchants cannot list the price $1.00 with a 10 cent surcharge for credit cards. Although the price is the same, the word "surcharge" creates a different behavior with the consumer paying cash more often.

I use the broccoli rubber band too, after seeing a lame attempt to make a manufactured knockoff on Shark Tank using one of the co-stars from the Sopranos. Just lifted it from the produce section.

Correct and the same goes for - $10 credit card minimum - if your card is valid ypu can by a candy bar. No sense fighting, I just go elsewhere...

I have one from Dad, one from Sis, one from da Wife- dont want to drop or fumble on NYC transit - so I use a Nyc Community Board butterfly clip, joke, about taking one from the board office,
but a shame I have to worry about carrying an expensive one .....

I've been carrying a Big Skinny front pocket billfold clip for well over a decade and haven't carried an actual wallet since the 70's. I do, however, have to switch pockets when I'm carrying the .380 and have to remember that when pulling out money :)

Sorry for no photo. I bent one end of a 1 1/4" key ring at about a 25-30 degree angle. Plenty enough of an opening to slide a good number of bills. What I like about this is if it is a large number of bills, I don't need to rotate the key ring much at all to hold them. If it is just a couple of bills, I rotate the ring which tightens down on the bills to hold them securely as well. To deploy the cash, I'll slide the ring off so it falls around my ring finger. Two free hands to handle the cash. No wallet in my hand. No money clip in my hand. It's securely around my ring finger. A 1" key ring is too small to drop around my finger. 1 1/4 " is the minimum.
One other thing to share. I don't fold the bills 50/50. It's a little too tedious from time to time to find the middle of the bills to unfold. I'll use a 60/ 40 fold. Doesn't take up much more room in my pocket and sliding my thumb under the 40% face opens them up right away.
If you have a key ring laying around (and what red blooded EDC guy doesn't?) take a pair of needle nose and give it a try.

I've been using the Ti money clip from CC since I can remember. It works really well.

I don't use them often, but the adult sized binder clips are hands down the best minimal wallet/money clip around.

I had Harp Leather turn one of their "coffin carry" knife slips into a clip. Super handy and nice-lookin.

Have a few nice ones but dont like to fumble with it in the big city. Just took a kydex one, snipped the pins off a USCG emblem and Gorilla glued it! It will never come off which is good... watch that Gorilla glue !

I just use a rubber band. The type used by the green grocer to hold the celery together seems to work best. Lasts longer (4-6 months each) and doesn't stretch out as fast. Since I eat a lot of celery, I don't think I'll run out anytime soon.

I carry cash, credit cards, driver's license, etc. It's small and compact. [IMG]

The TacTiClip is my favorite. Its so good, I bought like 5 because I couldn't imagine not having one. I hate all other money clips, but this this is awesome. I have some in the larger size and the smaller size
