    Roland vs. Yamaha? Which one is the better bang for the buck?

    I couldn't tell you as i played barely any electronic kits. The one i did play was a Roland but a high end model.


    Best bet is to go to music store and try them out.

    Who has a recommendation for a bass pedal? I'm looking to spend around $50.

    Won't get you anything that will last to be honest.......save up and get something you like; my first expensive pedal was a Pearl Powershifter Eliminator Double pedal and that was over 10 years ago. It's taken a hammering and put up with it all graciously.
    Tama, DW, Yamaha (flying Dragons) are all decent brands. Try stuff out in showrooms etc.
