I'm diabetic too, i use an insulated envelope like the one that the pharmacy give with vaccine (see picture). I just use pens and keep the needles in my FAK
I knox that there is lost of well thought options but this one is good for me (i don't tavel enough to justify spending money on a dedicated pouch.

My glucometer is none other than my smartphone, i use Abbott Freestyle Libre sensors (life changing product).[IMG]

This rarely leaves the house but is easy enough to throw in a bag to roll.
Maxpedition fatty with victoza tresiba metformin warfarin symvastatin and pen needles in a bottle preform.

Also is a firestarter, Klein coping blade and countycomm tech screwdriver just because.

Edit. Bayer contour next as well as generic lancet and test strips.

    Welcome to my affliction. [IMG]

My husband is diabetic and I don't carry insulin but I carry some backup stuff. The pic is old now and kit has since been updated but you get the gist of it: https://www.edcforums.com/threads/treya-edc-handbag.120065/
(sorry scroll down to Blood sugar / diabetic kit)

Hubby has one of these: Pacsafe Metrosafe LS100 Anti-Theft Cross Body Bag Black. Enough room to fit other stuff as well.

I've got a pump and a CGM strapped to me! I keep various bits n bobs in my backpack - spares/batteries etc. Blood sugar meter, bottle of Gatorade / glucose tabs. Life is generally better for me with a pump and CGM is a Godsend. It's pretty hot here at times so if I carry a spare insulin pen it's in a Frio insulin cooling case.
