Mine usually gains time the longer I wear it.
No matter what, it's a good therapy for my OCD...
I found out my automatic Seiko had to grow on me, before keeping the timing right.
Second day I found it stopped overnight (guess I didn't charge it enough by moving my arm the first day ) this didn't happen again so far.
do you have any cool old German blades ? Folders from 1880-1965 cut off date. You live close to heaven ( not only those pesky mountains, snow, great beer and cool shorts that make us mere mortals jealous ) but also a great messer country.....
I have been salivating every time an old timer pulled out one of those stag handle old folders ...every time I visited . ( Paid through my nose for what you take for granted......)
Nope, not a one...even the WWII Bayonet of my Grandpa got lost somehow several years ago cleaning out the attic at home...
Sorry to hear that ! Still jealous and still a Cool thread !
Sooner or later it had to be. survivorman and one of his saws on the cover of Survival Magazin...
That was my exact (well, a solid brass Zippo) for the longest time.
It's all in the way you lay it down at night. Obviously this is from Rolex but the basic principle is the same.
Wish I had the ceiling height to do that in my basement home theater. For some silly reason, the builder went with 7 1/2' ceilings with simple 2x10 joists. All I could do was a layer of soundboard under the drywall.

That's fascinating. I've never seen anything like that before.
what flashlight is that?
IIRC a variety of the Peak Eiger. There are different options to choose from, like the tail button.
Pardon the intrusion Antithetik, but what model is this Devon Scout? Looks awesome!
It's a Seiko 5 SRP488K1, commonly known as a Mini Monster, Pearlescent Bronze & Rose Gold Bezel.
Lovely model, Automatic and Manual wind. I purchased this through Creation Watches out of Singapore. They no longer list it though, I paid something like £90 for it, a bargain as they usually pop up at as much as £220 here in the U.K.
Thanks Devon!! This is going straight to my list. £130 span is not peanuts money, had no idea it could be like that.
Where's Anti? No posts in three months? I hope he hasn't fallen on hard times.
I'm not Anti, but he's got no sort of troubles, FWIK.
