Ah, there you are. I wanted to "knock at your thread" just yesterday to see how you have been. Japp, the knife is exquisite. Everybody should at least handle one some time. Feels like a toy the first time you put it in hand, until you open it up and take a closer look. I would even go so far as to say that, if you offered this beauty to the Captain of an invading Alien Force, he would very likely spare the whole planet for artistic reasons.
Let me check quickly...oke...oke...oke... ...everything is replaceable, except the table, too good a wallpaper. Just be careful with that Lansky of yours, would eat the little one up.
I don't think it needs a Lansky for a while no? Stropping on a piece jeans with green compound will be more then sufficient to maintain DAT edge.
Oh, you just went and did it. Nice knife I guess I like the wooden table too, makes great background.
It doesn't have to be large to be a classic folder. I love the ergonomics of a lot of smaller units not to mention less OTT response from others when you get it out for use. I find larger folders are more expensive the further you get from the USA & you could probably talk your way outta trouble with a small one if pressed by the police.
Japp, anything bigger than a 3 inch folder is just not comfortable to carry for me, and if I really needed a bigger blade, I would prefer a fixed one any day.
I rather find it fantastically expensive. No website has ever cost me more money. Not even the ones you get mail from dingy lawyers afterwards accusing you of having done who knows what. Lawyers can be ignored or buffaloed, fantastic stuff not so much.
The bad thing is, the higher end stuff hardly loses any worth over time, so you can always justify it as "investment + fun" - hard to beat combination.
