I've passed on all of his other new releases waiting on this one, it's been worth the wait :woohoo:. A big shout out to the number one tool man, Mr. Peter Atwood........

I'm sorry, can someone fill in the blanks with this thread?

Is this prototype Ti Nibble going to be available soon?

Or, did the OP order it, and we all missed it?

Is the main launch coming this week?

Can you put up some pictures that are bigger than a postage stamp? :p

    Thanks,
    S.R.

I am saying that the OP has THE proto. The ONLY proto. The ONE and TRUE proto that rode in Peter's pocket for 3 weeks. :)

I dunno when an actual run might be released, but it seems likely enough they'll come along eventually. :roof: Peter told me this morning that Doug's Nibble is the only Ti Nibble that currently exists! :smitten:

Peter got a little to close to the teleporter and I snagged it right out of his pocket  Seriously, Peter does a good job of spreading it around and I got REALLY lucky!!!!!!!

Wait, so was it just like a random lottery draw that got you the Ti nibble? Was there a chance that anyone who ordered a Nibble could have ended up with this?

Owning a ti nibble ... cool. Owning the only one in existence ... outstanding. Owning the proto carried by the creator ... priceless!

lol :grouphug: I think we all want to take Doug out back and relieve him of his property

I think tho its a sign that Peter has also given in to his Ti :censored:'iness hehe even tho I remember him ranting against everyone wanting Ti this or Ti that hehe ;D

I guess I'm slightly ambivalent on it...although lol I've got my Ti's up the wazoo also hehe I :smitten: my Ti wee and inka etc

Personally, I reserve Ti for two EDC applications: (1) It's on my wrist so I want it to be as light as possible; (2) I want bragging rights. Otherwise, I prefer a (heavier) high grade stainless steel. I own both a ti and a CPM-154 gasbaby. Which one gets carried? The stainless one, because of its beefy design and hardness.

I like the titanium for it's weight and non-magnetic properties, plus it's uber cool!!!!! If it was something I knew I was going to use everyday, I would go with the steel too.

I have 3 knives and 2 flashlights with rust on them from backpacking on the Pacific coast. Ti rocks on the coast or while backpacking in general for the weight savings!

I too EDC the steel most days though.
