    Hello guys,

Since i first saw the link bellow i knew i had to mod my MOAB10:

    https://www.edcforums.com/threads/custom-i-5-11-i-moab-10-i-backpack-i.132989/page-3#post-2675819

I ended up buying the cheapest backpack i could find and went to a shoemaker.
    So here's the result:

I took the pouch from the sling and used velcro to attach it to my right side.
I put car keys, wallet...all my most used edc items in it.
I went with velcro because if i have the backpack on me i can grab the pouch whenever i want and attach it also with ease.
If i went with the molle system i would have to put down the bag so i could attach it all over again taking a long time to do so.
This way is easier and way faster.

I added a mini organizer on the other side with other work related items.

    And now...it's perfect :)

I always felt 5.11 should offer both a sling version and a backpack version of the 10...
    Missed opportunity in my opinion.
    Yours looks great...congrats:)

I wonder if anyone has ever gone from backpack to sling?

"I love the capacity, organization, and load carrying ability of this backpack, but I want it all on one shoulder!"

Yep, tried it with a RUSH 72.

I could carry it, but it kept pulling me in circles.

Moab 10 mod looks good. That bag has the best CCW compartment in the market, IMO.

It was cheap. I went with the cheapest backpack i could find with black straps.
The cost and the time it takes depends on what the shoemaker charges and how much work he has.
It was 10€ for the stitching and the backpack was 12€.
Pretty cheap for an amazing upgrade.
    What i would do different?
Maybe more space between the shoulder straps and choose thicker ones.
Neverthless they would be minor adjustments.
    It's fine how it is.
