This seems to be a recurring thing with the Forum going down and I am just wondering if there is anything that any of us might do to help whoever is running this place now?
More to the point, who IS running the place? The FB page hasn't had an update either, and questions go unanswered
I'm also glad the forum is back - missed it during my daily checks. Glad that someone (who?) invests time & money to keep it running ... not sure how to help to keep it alive. Update: https://www.edcforums.com/members/?type=staff lists admins, moderators, etc. - just FYI.
All well and good when the place is up and running, but no POC seems to be available for when the ceiling's falling about our ears
Those of us who are still here after all these years (14 years and counting for me) have jobs outside of EDCF that take priority. I have been in contact with ScrÃbhneoir (the forum owner) & a server upgrade and forum software upgrade are in the works to hopefully fix the issues with stability. This will be rather pricey and if you would like to help defray the expenses there is the "support EDC Forums" link in the main banner.
It was kind of a tease, start to open and I hit log-in, then fail. Thought it was a log-in problem for a while.
