Check out the Wenger Field Watch. It's a great classic watch with a swiss movement and both time formats on the face.

The Seiko are a great value, especially if you want an automatic movement.

For quartz (& titanium), might check out Bertucci field watches, as an option.

I was just about to pull the trigger on the smaller SNK - but the larger size and better water resistance of that SNZ has me intrigued. May I ask where you got yours? I've only been able to find sellers from singapore and hong kong on the 'bay - the more reputable online retailers that carry Seiko seem only to have the smaller SNK.

I actually picked mine up here in B/S/T a few years ago. But a quick check show that Amazon has most of the color variants in stock.

Also, those overseas sellers are sometimes the best/only way to go. Seiko has a lot of models that aren't officially sold over here.

I like the botta 24 uno. They have an app for the iphone that let's you print a paper watch band, look at the band on your wrist through the phone and see how the watch looks on your wrist.

Oh and it only tells 24hr time.

I have three Luminox watches, 1881 BO, 1945, and 3051, love them all, purchased from a certified dealer and have yet to have a single issue. 3051 is so light and comfy that I made it my everyday watch. Bashed around pools and hot tubs on a daily bases without a hiccup.

Old school! Love it. Had one, then a trip to the beach in the 80's got me water inside and three hands sitting at the bottom of the glass. :(

These 2 are my favorites to wear. I pretty much wear one or the other 24/7.

One thing to keep in mind with Luminox ....they are complete JUNK!! I happen to know the not even one Navy Seal would EVER wear one. Way way back when they came out the team's received a bunch to test out. Out of the first 10 tried on the very first dive in about 50ft of water 3 of them flooded when they surfaced. The guys on the team seeing this threw them in a box and gave them all a burial at sea. Luminox has never been used by Navy Seals ever. I ha e a hard time considering getting one because of all the false advertising they have used for yrs.
