You need current California ID and be registered in the Cal DOJ database in order to purchase ammo in Cal. Non-residents can not purchase ammunition.

Midwayco.com, Opticsplanet.com and ammoshoponline.com have where I have found 9mm for around .60-.65 per round. I have quite bit back ordered.

Ohio has somewhat stabilize in the nine ,but 22 is very hard to find . Actually you can buy 9 in the twenty five a box range.
I am holding my own in the 22 supply. Gun joker and other bottom feeders sure don't help things

Over the past month and a half here in Arizona, .40, 9mm, .357 and 5.56 have become more consistent in availability. I've been able to build up my supply and go shoot more.

I scored some .223 last week, not pre-covid prices, but still cheaper than online. Sadly no handgun ammo was available.

9mm ammo supply in Michigan is hit or miss. Some stores have it in stock, but only sell to individuals who purchased a gun at the shop.
Common is a supply arriving and being sold out in hours.
