I sometimes come and read the first few pages of this thread for kicks.
I sent and email to Jana and got one. Thanks.
i sent her an email on aug. 11, 2013 and no reply yet.
Since Little Bonzai have discontinued The Clip no bad karma for posting this one up:
I'm glad I found the real thing though. Works well.
Sold both my Megas.
Had issues with them?
Cool item but it just made my carry twice as long lengthwise (dangling). I tried it for awhile and decided maybe I should just reduce the clutter and simplify my keys. Did not lose any money selling them either.
Thanks for the reply.
Thank you!! I even emailed Little Bonsai to inquire how I could get my hands on The Clip - they invited me to buy one of their toothbrushes.
Yeah ... Little Bonsai lost its way awhile back.
That may be the only drawback to a mega, forced me to shorten my keychain but if you want short and an offering from Monroe then their mini danglers are where its at
In case anyone's looking, the clones on ebay are back in stock.
Thanks!!! Been waiting to try one
The Titaner Ti clip is a great alternative to a Munroe Dangler for those willing to live without the bottle-opener feature. The Titaner is more compact.
Another vote for the Titaner and the P7. I got my Titaner for $8 on eBay. There's a thread somewhere with pics of a modded Titaner clip, though that ugly hole in it limits your options.
True, the hole is a bit oddly shaped. Though you can still attach a different variety of clips, carabiners and even keyrings to it. I've seen some sites list it close to $90 as blatant rip-off prices. Though other sites are more reasonable. A genuine Munroe Dangler is about $65. So the Titaner can be found for around $30 if you order direct and are willing to wait.
I'm happy with my Little Bonsai "The Clip."
But I'm still tempted to get the Titaner one.
There's so many on eBay, if you check often and snipe a low-bidding one, you can get one for under $10 with free shipping.
I came across some titanium knife pocket clip blanks on the USAknifemaker site. $5.25 each. If I owned a drill press, I'd make clips and sell those mofos for $10 each, to make a few bucks and as an FU to the people selling anything made of Titanium as if it were gold-dipped bacon.
Okay. Go to that site (URL not approved to post) and search on: Titanium Pocket Clip .035" style #4
$3.18. It even looks like a straightened out dangler.
I'm finally getting my GearPull set up the way that I want it.
I think I should have it all stonewashed though. Right now I have Titanium that is satin, stonewashed, beadblasted and high polished. It's crazy!
