i cant wait to see the pic on person and how the straps are organized/setup.
Ive been trying to do some variations on the 2 straps to achieve the most comfortable way of carrying it and still exploring how to make the bag sort of attached to my back fully.

As a reference point, Amazon UK of supplied via the US based seller but shopping is £3. Could check there to see what it would be to you?

Is it really that expensive for one of us in the States to drop an envelope to you with a couple in it?

Let me see if I can get a couple quick shots before work today.

I think he means the original EV1 which he no longer needs?
That is how I read it at least.

Complicated now of course by the EV1 being on sale from the Mothership now too!

I am in the same boat too,or would be if I ever actually sold anything!

It looks like I found a seller on eBay with stock of these 3/4" Woojin g-hooks.

I've got two on the way and if they work I'll post the link.

    Exciting times.

One question. If I preorder now and I am not able to talk my wife into it during the month until the pack ships am I on the hook to buy it?

I really want one but I have to tread lightly. I'm sure a lot of you can relate.

Anybody who has the Evade 1.0 or 2.0, and can compare the differences between the 420D diamond ripstop and 1050D ballistic nylon? I assume te pack in 1050D has more structure, and the main thing the 420D has is weight savings?

After carrying my EV2 for a few days of work, I am most definitely impressed. Although the weight is a bit more than my covert 18, the higher carry/shoulder straps make a world of difference. I probably could have saved some weight for the 420 vs 1050, yet the straps help to make the weight feel like a non-issue.

EDIT: Hope I can get some pictures up soon for @Happygodavid . keep in mind that my EDC carry is pretty basic. haha.

The Woojin G Hooks arrived today. The tolerances on the clips and straps are tight so I had to remove the strap keeper to get the hook on. (Not a big deal as the excess strap can simply be tucked into the BT itself.)

I haven't removed the male srb clips yet as the strap will not reverse through them (aka I think they will need to be cut off).

So to further test concept before crossing that bridge...

The hook attaches fine, holds the strap very well, still allows for expansion of the BT, etc etc. All signs point to it being successful.

I'm going to test it over the weekend and if all works out I'll find a way to deal with the srb clips.

So I tried to get this into the field Today on a service call in an old high rise building here and it is a process for sure to get things dialed in even though much of it moved straight over from the EV1.

I like the velcro admin panels in concept but they are much tighter and more restrictive than the EV1 built-in panel for sure.
I love the little bit of extra space overall and the inside pockets feel bigger for sure.
The Ballistic Nylon though makes the bag a lot more rigid than before which I both love and not love but nothing is broken in yet at all either obviously.

I discovered that the Russian Doll pouches are ideal for carrying cables and tools too in the EV1 and though you can't really tell from the pics this is what is in those there!

I also have 2 Macbooks in there and power supplies and mouse and computer cable and just a lot of crap,my favorite thing to carry!

Don't know about you but to me this is having some fun!

Still awaiting delivery of pulls and shock cord.

Have carried this every day since getting back to work after Christmas break.(1/3) and it has been fantastic. Just need to finish up the personalization and I’ll be in love.

I use this one for my bags. Not only does it pad the handle, it can be unwrapped quickly yielding ~11ft of paracord ready to use.

Definitely adds “meat” to the grab strap along with padding. Mine added ~23’ of cord.
