Mine came yesterday I will post more later, but so far it seems the perfect evolution of the evade. As previously mentioned, the shoulder straps are a huge improvement. And I love the fixed loop/molle wall on the rear of the main compartment. The wolf grey is a little more blue than my 2.0 which I greatly prefer. I'll try to get some comparison pics up in a bit. Agreed. To me they feel on par if not better than Vertx Gamut straps which were the most comfortable I have ever tried. The redesigned load lifters are nice also. I was personally not a fan on the 2.0 but I don’t mind them at all here.

im so jealous....I hope there would be additional production for me to catch. Or maybe even 2.0 with the new straps with navy blue color, Id take that too.
First big road trip with new Evade 1.5 today. Packing it went the way I expected and it holds the load closer to my back than my Evade 2.0, greatly increasing comfort. Very happy with it so far!

Just got my 1.5. @HELM This bag is dare I say perfection or close to it. I love the 1.0, my current 2.0, and this has all sorts of little improvement that makes it every better. Can't wait for the lite version to arrive.

Fantastic news. I've been refreshing my email and spam folders like crazy lol. The bag looks great. Hoping to have it for my Christmas trip. Also getting sick of my cheap Swiss gear backpack that has been giving me back pain. Presumably, many still are waiting on their Preorders. Helm continues to work through the remaining EV1.5 Pre-Order Invoices and has not yet completed sending them out... "...not even close! I am still at my desk sending these out. Helm" As we continue to exercise patience, clearly this will take time as Helm puts together a contingency for us on how he will deal with the temporary shortage of Type 1 organizers. Many who have already received their EV1.5 preorders have heard from Helm concerning this temporary issue of the Type 1 Organizer. Give a shout if you hear from him this week! Thanks good people!!
Got my bag this week. It is everything I expected and more. The only issue is someone forgot the cord thing on the front. Not a big deal since I hardly ever use that feature on a bag this size. Hope everyone gets their preorder soon. Then we can start the "extras" orders. I've convinced myself that I need one for....SOMETHING.
Late last night I got the email and invoice for my preordered 1.5 Lite in diamond ripstop black. It said the pack would be ready for shipment next week.
