For those that have not had the chance to see it in person... The closer you look at the DR the more you notice how detailed the pattern really is. It reveals a subtle and larger grid pattern behind the diamond weave.

Here's some good news if you missed the EV1.5 Preorder! Helm commented concerning the future EV1.5's availability and additional production runs... "...Once we get the pre-orders sorted out we will start making these available on another production run. Best estimate? Probably start of the new year, in time for a launch at SHOT Show 2020 in Vegas. - Helm"

I don’t think phase 1 is complete. I pre-ordered diamond ripstop black, which I think is in phase 1, but I haven’t gotten an invoice yet.
Update from Helm concerning Evade 1.5 Preorder invoices and shipping times... "Guys, I've been getting quite a number of emails from individuals concern that they have not received their invoices in lieu of the fact that some others have. Please be patient, we will get to yours. We expect to have all invoices out by end of this month. If you do not get yours by Dec 1 then please feel free to reach out to me direct about it and I will personally look into it and sort it out. Thanks. Helm" The Evade 1.5 Preorder rollout is different from Helm's previous Evade releases. The Preordered Evade 1.5's are being released in two phases and shipped out in batches by fabric type. Helm mentioned this in his email 11/9/19... I posted this update: https://www.edcforums.com/threads/alpha-one-niner-evade-1-5-version-announced.140464/page-11#post-2704187 "Evade 1.5 will release in two phases and ship out in "batches": First Phase: 500D in all the solid colors, 420D diamond ripstop. Second phase: 1050D Ballistic Nylon, 500D in the camouflages." Phase 1 is currently under way: 500D all solid colors are coming in first, in "BATCHES" (smaller quantities). So "Batches" is the keyword here! It means not all Evade 1.5's in the Phase 1 will be shipping at the same time. As a small batch comes in, invoices will be sent. 500D all solids colors first, then 420D Ripstop next, and so on through the Phase 2 until all preorders are fulfilled. Also, since we here in the states have the national "Thanksgiving Day" holiday approaching at the end of next week, Thursday 11/28/19. We can expect the "Shipping" Holiday to be factored into the preorder shipping times for next week's domestic deliveries. Sometimes Helm shares things in private with us during our personal comms with him. I would suggest not broadcasting something he has spoken in private to you unless you have asked his approval to do so. This is a matter of respect for his work process. Helm is a very accommodating person. The last thing I'd expect him to do is leave us his customers out of the loop as far as informing us with shipping updates. He will share them when he deems these necessary. I believe we are all in here because we support what Helm's doing for the EDC community and want to see him succeed. Look at it this way, when he wins we win! So hang in there... It's in progress!

Alright guys be jealous. My 1.5 came today. I will post pics soon but wow! This is the pack that I have been looking for for years. It is the perfect size. Being a 2.0 user it was an easy move over to the new one. The straps are super comfortable also, they are a huge upgrade over the 2.0 The only thing is mine did not come with an organizer. I will reach out to helm but it is no big deal right now since I was just able to transfer my 2.0 one over. Not trying to rub it in but wow. Those of you that ordered will not be let down.
