Syph, just wow.. Both of them..
Last ones for today I promise.
I wanted a display model in each of the hard anodize colors I run, so I could get a group shot of the color options. So I build 4 urban pioneers, one in each of the hard anodize colors.
I finally found the time to power up the Cadet Syph put together for me.
I added a saw. Let me tell you, getting the pivots just right with the thin 84mm scales is hard. Very hard. But I got it eventually.
Picked this up today:
One of us. ^^
Here'a another of Syph's creations (and the first photo is his, too):
I always carry this Benchmade 910 knife with me:
And, I always carry a Vic Classic, so I wanted just the three tools -- a saw, a large scissors, and a pliers. I don't plan to carry this SAK Tool every day, but wanted the added versatility.
Also, as I explained to Syph, I wanted to be able to change out the alox scales if at some future point I didn't want the pocket clip or just wanted the plain 'natural' alox look. So I paid him for an extra set of scales:
To me this is like buying a dark suit with an extra pair of tan trousers. YMMV.
Dadgummit Syph I wish I could afford you!
Very nice one.. Cadet LE?!
don't lose this one.. there's no ring for a clip..
If you like it then you should have put a ring on it?
I like my SAK alox without the ring, but I know this one hasn't one. And I know she (supermanda) almost lost her other cadet and put a clip on it..
I don't really have a preference, but all my cadets have the rings, I'm not lucky enough to own a LE one yet
Be quick. They are running out of stock quickly..
I've got all five. Thanks to my wife..
Of course it is.
When did they stop making the LE Cadets? I've got all of them right down the road for a pretty decent price. Trying to decide if I should grab them while I can.
Yes, you should.
If you decide you don't want them I'm sure there's someone who would love to take a few of them off your hands around here. ;-)
Yes, you should..
From what I can tell the Cadet 5 Color Series was only made in 2012 for the US Market. Does anyone have anymore info on it?
Here's the info about them from sakwiki.
