I wasn't sure where to put this, so here seemed a safe bet. Who's into air/co2 guns?
Not into it as a serious hobby, but I have a gamo shadow csi with a gamo 4X32 scope just for some backyard fun.
Gamo make some nice airguns. I had the PR-45 pistol (basically the Gamo Compact without the walnut) and it was excellent for the money.
I love them and so does my son. Many hours in the winter are spent in the basement with air rifles and pistols.
I think they're great, I've got a first generation Crosman 1377 pistol, but the valve needs replaced my grandad has a few rifles too A good friend of mine has a BSA compact rifle and a Weirauch HW100, we go out shooting sometimes.
That TAU 7 is very nice!
I have a few, nothing fancy though. A Daisy Red Ryder, a Winchester rifle which I don't know the model of and a really cheap cheesy pistol. They're great fun, quiet and cheap trigger time without even having to go anywhere. Although in most cities it's still considered an illegal discharge in city limits, I've never heard of anyone getting nicked for it. Check your local ordinance (and do it when your nosy neighbor is at work).
I have a .22 Diana RWS 34p with a T06 trigger that I use for squirrel control and just for fun. I am really impressed with this rifle, about as loud as a staple gun and super accurate.
Beautiful collection Sarky! I don't have anything good, just an old Crosman 2100 and a Crosman Revolver. I was looking at the RWS 34 like deepsea has, but I can't justify getting one.
I am looking at a Crosman 2240 to mod a bit. I want something to target shoot with and drop a few nuisance birds like starlings.
Thank you For some reason, the Tau 7 has become very sought after in the years since I bought mine. Although they are still available from the factory in the Czech republic, you see them going for silly money from time to time in the UK.
I love my Beeman RS2 for small game. It's accurate out to 50 yards and I've even killed a coyote with it. It's also great for backpacking since 500 pellets only weigh about 1/2 a pound.
My HW97k is also accurate to 50+ yards, however, it weighs a ton!
I have a gamo shadow 1000, though I much prefer my marlin 883 for most things as I have pleanty of room
Thanks for all the replies, but does anyone have pictures?
I am embarassed of my Gamo that gun has been rode hard all its life lol
I'm embarrassed my rifle shows so little wear.
LOL my gun is missing the front sight, some of the finish,, has over 10,000 rounds through it.
Sounds like it has a lot of character
Doesnt show to much, the stock is plastic and pretty much indestructible. It was my first non toy gun if that makes sense.
Before coming to college I used to shoot quite often.
I had more (beter?) but can't find them.
Have a nice day.
