    So here's the deal:

I've had a SAK Adventurer for a million years, and I still like it. But it doesn't have a clip, which means carrying it is a pain.
So I'm looking for something to take it's place. Here are my needs:
    1. Folder
    2. One handed opening (assisted is good, non is ok.)
    3. Clip
    4. Not too expensive (say, not more than $65)

I really like the look of the CRKT Razel, but I'm not sure how easy it is to open one handed.

Any other options I should think about?

How much blade are you looking for?

    How about a SOG Aegis?
    Kershaw Blur?
    Spyderco Delica or Endura Wave?

A good question about blade size-

My SAK has a blade a bit over 3" long- So I'd say no longer than 3.5"

Also, I don't need/like serrations on my blades....

everything i listed comes in both plain edge and partially serrated. the delica is a hair under 3" and the endura is 3 and 3/4" but they are both fantastic. everything else is within the sizes you asked for and are also assisted opening. the SOG flash 2 is also a good choice.

Just wanted to expand and consolidate my list. Everything i'm listing except the spyderco knives are assited opening. the wave on the spyderco knives negates the need for assisted opening. the wave is also known as an Emerson opener. All of these can be found for about $65. Ignore the MSRP on the official sites.

spyderco Delica or Benchmade mini-grip....either one is great for EDC, if you are on a budget the Spyderco Byrd line is also great for EDC, I have a Byrd for those situations where I don't want to lose my Spyderco/Benchmade

Another vote for a Benchmade mini-grip. Your budget and other requirements points right to that great line of knives.

i would have also recommended the mini-griptilian but it's well over his price range and the blade is shorter than he was looking for. the blade is 2.91" and the cheapest i've seen them is about $80.

I was going to recommend the Spyderco Captain, unfortunately they are discontinued and now well above your pricerange.

CRKT Razels seem to have a good reputation.

However, I would second the recommendation of a Spyderco Delica. Also check out pretty much any Kershaw, particularly the Leek, Blur, and RAM. Also check out the Spyderco Stretch and Manix 2.

Spyderco does have a lot of other awesome knives but the manix 2 and stretch are above your budget :(

I would say the benchmade mini grip or even the full size grip. Knifeworks.com has the mini for $60, and the full size for $65 if ordered online and using an online coupon they are offering right now.

The Centofante 3 and 4 are excellent choices for under or around $50. They are full sized blades and have a good bang to the buck ratio, check them out!
