Triple Aught Design
Thanks! This was very helpful for me.
For a Swede this was very helpful, IKYN...
Maybe add in Knife Blade Shape: Leaf- Spyderco design
TEOTWAWKI = the end of the world as we know it (sorry if posted yet , i just learned it...)
Also Law Enforcement Armed Forces.
I forgot this thread existed.
Wasn't the Leaf a Sumerian pattern? I would have to look it up.
It could be confusing because leaf shaped blades are still made in the old double edge format. They are just not common.
I am fairly certain you are correct that they are the originators of that design, albeit with their swords. I do not know of any other common manufacturers who use the design, despite how sleek it is (IMHO).
It really is a shame that it has lost popularity... Outside of Spyderco of course.
Here ya go. This was 2009 production, I think I sold one of the last ones produced.
Here is a WW2 Smatchet. A bit of British work.
Oh dear me... Those are pretty.
Now that I think of it, the leaf-blade is more commonly employed in throwing knives now. Forgot about that
But those 2 are gorgeous. Wish I had that one on top!
Will somebody be kind enough to tell me what TLC stands for? As in "this knife needs some TLC"
I dont recall seeing it in the list
True love and care.. I think..
Tender Loving Care
Well, it all makes sense now. Thank you guys

If it wasn't in there; it are now.
Something about that leaf design, not sure what.
Look it up.
