Acid etched spine/blade
That. Is. Gorgeous.
So you had to dunk the blade a few times to get that layered effect. Which end did you start at?
Looks really good
Really good etching.
Just wondering, doesn't the scales feel a bit too "thick" ?
They look a bit to big on the third pic.
That looks awesome!
I think laminated steels are really neat, but doing this would allow you to keep with a great knife steel, while getting a really distinctive pattern on the blade.
This gives me crazy ideas.
This is not helping me resist the pingo.... Stunning work!
WAAh ! you did a REAL amazing job
Could you give us some more details, especially about the Acid work ?
Makes this small knife feel just right.
Thanks for the kind compliments ALL.
That looks cool!
One side looks like a mountainous, tree covered landscape.
The other side looks like a city-scape in the background with mountains and hills in the foreground.
What did you use as "etch-resistant". Was it regular nail-polish ?
I need another Pingo!
I was always scared the trip would be bad...
I quite like yours, good trip!
Ok, so I wasn't seeing things.
I'm Moobile, Baby!!!
Nice work Rick!
Love it! Finally a spyderco with some class.
Now that's cool
