I need a place to purchase a pair of band adapters for my G-Shock GD-120. The synthetic bands generally give me an allergic reaction in the form of a red stripe on my wrist. So does anyone who is reputable and stocks adapters that will allow me to put on a cloth strap? Also I would like to add one of those wire face protectors as well. Thanks in advance.

Don't Amazon stock JaysAndKays adapters and the cages too? Also Etsy iirc.

Thank you. I saw them, but I thought I would ask the experienced here first incase the quality was lacking.

Jay and Kay's, County Comm and others. I have J and K and can be found on eBay or Amazon, good quality and customer service.

@jcombs: based on your last pic, it looks like when you use the adapters together with a NATO/Zulu band, the watch is actually suspended above your wrist; looks like what is riding on your wrist directly with a gap above is the band? Making the watch ride even higher off the wrist? Am I looking at this correctly?

Yes, the adaptors allow for the same fit for a NATO as standard lugs on a traditional watch, there is no more of a gap than normally found with a NATO on say a Seiko dive watch. Once you have an 18mm thick watch on your wrist I'm not sure an addition 2mm matters that much but it could pose an issue for some.

Jays and Kay's do offer an adaptor for 2 piece strap that fit the 5000 series square G's but I'm not sure if they fit others models, they may I just don't know.

Edit, this link is for the 2 piece adaptors and looks like they fit several models.

Just got my strap adapter and a 1 piece orange 24mm strap along with some bull bars. I gotta say they're great. Highly recommend them.

Sure, David. I almost went with orange adapters as well, but felt it might be too much orange.

@CanvasNBrass: Very nice look! I think you made the right choice; looks nice with the adapters essentially become part of the case.

Wear it long and in good health!

Looks great, echo the sentiment about no such thing as too much orange...

Any wrist shots with the strap adapter? Especially interested in profile and how it sits on the wrist with a Zulu strap. Thanks in advance.

    Of course. Here you go.

I got the 24mm band. I have to say anything smaller would be too thin.

Since it's a one piece strap I did like the guy in a DIY video (Owner of J&K I presume) did and you can slip the remaining band into the adapter for a clean look.

Or if you've got large wrists (I'm bordering on that, sadly) you can do the wrap around and back, but I prefer the other method. I'm pretty happy with the process, quality and price. I'm used to dealing with Rolex parts that cost hundreds. But for $37.00 you can't beat the results. Also the metal on the strap doesn't appear to be magnetic, so the whole G-Shock being non-magnetic seems to still be there.
