My Zippo only in my 501's, nothing else will fit in that pocket. In my Lee's, the pocket is wider and deeper so I can fit my Zippo and my Burt's Bees. Side note: Levi Strauss Co says it's official name is the "watch pocket" http://www.levistrauss.com/unzipped-blog/2014/05/throwback-thursday-501-jean-trivia-on-its-namesake-day-501/
No, I don't. I guess I might carry a SAK or a small flashlight there if it were longer/taller, narrower and placed a bit deeper in the "normal" front pocket.
When my keychain was tiny (1 ring, keys, done) I'd put it in my watch pocket. Now I have my work's key and rfid key in there. If I'm using my knife a lot I'll slip it in there for easier access.
I don't wear "jeans" so my answer is no; however, many of my slacks have a fifth pocket within the right trouser front pocket. I use it to house my pen and 2-AAA flashlight in a soft calfskin pouch.
Since I retired I no longer wear a watch, so now I use that pocket for what it was designed for. A pocket watch. I don't feel the need to constantly glance at a wrist watch any more so a pocket watch fills the bill. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
I've finally found a use for this little pocket: It works great for carrying a USB memory stick. I don't to that very often anymore, as everything is usually available from the mysterious cloud. However, the cloud is still not totally omnipresent. There are, for example, a few classrooms and library rooms where the Internet is so slow or the browser so awkward (Internet Exploder) that it is still more convenient to carry my presentations on a physical device. On these occasions, the 5th pocket actually comes in handy.
