Excellent info. I would have never thought to stash cash on my keychain. Thanks for the idea.

I have yet to see a perfect pill fob/capsule.
Thank u for starting this thread.
I ordered a few of deal extreme capsules. They are aluminum fit and finish is 7/10.
But the issue is their diameter is to small. As you said you can fit many things in it but not a big bill and I have to break my pills in two to get the there. One more thing that no one is talking about is does the material of the capsule react with the things in it?

This is a little off topic, but if any of y'all EDC a flashlight that has battery rattle (This happens a lot when the flashlight can take two or more styles of batteries. For example 2X cr123/18650 lights), you can usually rap cash around the narrower battery setup instead of using another method (3x5 card, plastic tube, etc.).

For a while I was also doing this - wrapping a spare $20 around an AAA battery in a Zebralight H51, although the proportional loss of battery capacity for smaller lights like the H51 is perhaps not so desirable.

Perfect pill fob is different for everyone. The one from goinggear is quite good. I have two myself. However, I can see where it would be far too thick for some to EDC. A much narrower one would be easier to tote around, but obviously limits the number of bills that can be used. A pill fob should not react with anything stored in it. If you find one that does, throw it out.

Well I sometimes take pill for pain because I get a migraine and the doctor told me I cant use aluminum fobs because they somehow react and the coat on the pills dissolves.I just need a fob that look ok and is 1cm do 2 2cm wide :D and is not 15 $ lol

So get a $2.00 aluminum pill fob and wrap your pills in some paper or cling film before they go in the tube. Or you could paint the inside with some enamel. Lots of ways to work around that on the cheap.

Pretty much type of paint... Nailpolish... Plus the same stuff that wears off your teeth from eating junk food. ;)

Along with mini-lights, pill fobs/spy capsules are one of those items that I just can't resist.
I have two of the Oddities capsules on me at the moment (one containing cotton/pj on the split ring of my SAK Champ & one carrying £20 on my keyring ) & a much bigger (home made/modified!) EDCAPSULE on my bag. This carrys button compass, matches, trick candle, sewing kit, scalpel blade, dental floss , micro light sticks and a tiny ring magnet.

I have a couple of nice looking (but cheap and not very good quality!) 3AA lights and intend to convert these into (rather long!) spy capsules/hollow kubatons when I get chance.
