One option to get started is send one of us a hand sketch and we can be your digital translator.

The personal logo is interesting on your tags, but my recommendation is to simplify. Also, that super thin metal will get bent very easily, and that's if it makes it through your cutting process at all. Minimum remaining material thickness should be thought of 1:1 to the thickness of the material you're cutting.

Start with Sketchup, there are a lot of tutorials on it, and it's easy to learn. Like you want to make a hole? Draw a circle, and then "push" the circle with the tool, and voilĂ , you got a hole ;)

Just downloaded sketch up. I may need to tilt my work screens so the boss can't see what I am up to....

If you want more complex shapes and no 3D you can try Inkscape too. i used to be able to do personal stuff at work on Sketchup since I could say it was just training :D

Well, my first drawing is pretty rough. Onto my second attempt!

I think I might make it so the design is either simply recessed rather than cut all the way through, or laser-engraved if machining is too expensive.

So this is a very basic idea of what I was hoping to accomplish with my EDC scissors idea. Still need to decide where best to put a pocket clip, as well as other features I can work into it while still making it a socially acceptable item; in other words, I don't want it to turn into a Leatherman Raptor.

And here's what I settled on as the two possibilities for the logo tag; suspension clip and belt clip carabiner. The other ideas were too overdone.

Designed a knife. I tried to make it really ergonomic and functional, and I got a Gavko/ Liong Mah/ Fantoni type of thing. I like it. 6.25" overall, 2.25" blade.

This is literally just the Atwood RollBar with the dimensions I'd want it to have; 2 1/4" x 5/8"

I love both tag ideas. I think they would be perfect.

I'm gonna start doing this with the rendered AA battery for scale. Whenever I look at the pictures, it seems like this little 2.5" tool is the size of a ZT 0300.

You should learn how to render these images in a rendering software like Vray of Kerkythea :) Used to do that for work and it really gives you a beautiful view ;) I used to model buildings which is pretty hard, but rendering small objects is pretty easy!
Edit : You can see my avatar I made in Blender, you can play wit the furr or whatever, lots of options :)

What I want in a challenge coin (Heavily influenced by the design submissions for the Multitool Forum 2013 Challenge Coin). 1 1/8" x 3/32" w/ 1/4" hex bit and 3 cut-out lanyard hole bars.
