Helm when do you think you will have paladin pouches back in stock? I think they will compliment the EV2 nicely.
My order has arrived! I've only had a few minutes but these are my initial impressions: Build quality is absolutely top notch, and the pack (mine in the black 1050D ballistic nylon) feels bulletproof Everything in the video @HELM posted is as described The water bottle pockets, as others have described, are exactly what water bottle pockets should be The organizer (mine is type 1) is outstanding Overall I love it. I'm looking forward to using it!
I too just got mine. Everything looks great. I got the Diamond Ripstop and it looks and feels nice. I’ll post up later once I’ve tried it out more. Thanks @HELM and crew.
Exactly this!! I love mine as well. Bought mostly as a travel bag and it looks perfect. Looking forward to using it to see if it functions as good as it looks.
Mine was delivered yesterday here at work but I wasn't able to pickup until today. I'm impressed with the build quality and features. Can't wait to load it up and take it for a test drive this weekend!
Same here. Mine came yesterday, but I got called back to work so I didn't get to check it out until this afternoon. This is one slick pack! Like Soulriot said, the Black Diamond Ripstop looks great. I never thought I would have a need for a beavertail, but it's going to get a lot of use holding a down coat or rain coat. The PALS panel opens up so many options for organization. I have a couple of Penguin pouches that I'll be using and may add a couple of the Paladin pouches. The original Evade is the perfect size for me for EDC. But the 2.0 will fill the gap for when I need to carry a bit more (especially clothing/travel items), but don't want to step up to my MAP 3500 or Redwing 50. Guess I'll start saving my money for the Urban Pathfinder. Gotta cover all the bases, right?
Hey guys, just got back stateside so I'm checking in. Glad to hear everyone has been taken care of. Any questions about your new EV2 I'm sure you know who to hit Thanks all for your support.
Been using mine for a couple weeks now and it's been great. I love the quality of the materials, rigidity of the pack, and plethora of pockets. I had no trouble organizing my gear out of my current pack and getting to work with this one. Very pleased!
I'm still figuring out the load out but I'm quite I'm thus far with mine. Looking forward to breaking it in. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
