Every year in November, Spyderco holds a factory seconds sale at their Golden, CO office. If you've never been, it's worth it.

This is what I ended up with this year

Lil Lionspy, first quality NIB: $100
Southard Flipper, first quality, NIB: $125
S110V Native, no idea about the defect: $55
Ambitious, lock a little sticky: $12
Military CQI version, small scratch on blade: $75
Manix blurple S110V, blade slightly off center, not touching liners: $75

For the record, if they don't feel they have enough stock to service expected demand, they don't hold the sale. They did skip a year not too long ago.

I saw a G-10 Puukko 2nd for $100 and thought about it long enough to see the new firsts on clearance for $80 and bought one of those instead. I think the wood handle Puukko second I got for $50 was nicer than my first that I bought when they came out.

Altogether, I spent more than I should have but enough to make driving 7 hours each way worthwhile.

Don't buy one of these watches. A Citizen Eco drive that can be linked to your iPhone or ipad through their app to set the watch. Mine worked great until Citizen asked me to send in to have the soft ware updated. Now it doesn't work. I am going to send it back to them and tell them to put it back to original.

umm. You may not realize it but you've posted on a knife thread on the knives subforum. There is an entire subforum dedicated to watches; you might get more meaningful responses if you post there. Just thought you might like to know...!
